Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking a senior IT specialist to support business applications, maintain the IT environment, and resolve day-to-day issues in a complex operation. You will coordinate with stakeholders, modify configurations, and ensure project KPIs are met.

The role requires 7 years of IT experience, familiarity with Aveva AIM/ISM/Tag Management, Octave SmartPlant SPF/S3D, and Documentum D2, plus ITIL knowledge and strong security awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or information systems.
• 7 years IT experience.
• Experience with oil & gas information management apps (Aveva AIM/ISM/Tag Management/Octave SmartPlant SPF/S3D/Documentum D2).
• Proven ability to develop, customize and integrate business applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate operational issues and requests for support with stakeholders.
• Modify system parameters, perform workarounds, reconfigure systems, or escalate as needed.
• Monitor progress of support requests and inform stakeholders of status.
• Develop, interpret and execute test plans for software
• Define and execute small-scale projects, identifying risks and issues.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders and present issues and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and required standards.
