Job summary

Sterling Restaurants W.L.L. is seeking a talented Interior Designer to deliver high-quality interior design and fit-out projects for our restaurant spaces. This full-time, on-site role focuses on space planning, architecture drawings, interior design, and selecting FF&E.

You will create concepts, mood boards, detailed drawings, 2D/3D visuals, coordinate with project teams, visit sites, and ensure designs meet standards and budgets while enhancing the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of interior design and fit-out experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings and plans for fit-out projects.
• Develop interior concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, design presentations, and 3D visualizations.
• Develop and coordinate interior details for ceilings, flooring, walls, joinery, furniture, and finishes.
• Coordinate with project, site, MEP, and technical teams to ensure design requirements are implemented.
• Ensure drawings comply with standards and project scope and budget.
• Communicate with project manager and team for drawing requirements.
• Conduct site visits and provide design solutions to site-related issues.
• Review shop drawings, samples, and finishes for compliance.
• Maintain design quality and functionality while meeting project needs.
• Assist the project team throughout design and construction stages.
• Demonstrate understanding of materials, hardware and technicalities.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality interior design and fit-out projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer at Sterling Restaurants. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, creating architecture and construction drawings, interior design, and selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The Interior Designer will play a key role in designing and enhancing our restaurant spaces, creating distinctive, welcoming, and memorable dining environments that elevate the overall customer experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawing and plans for fit-out projects based on concept ideas and design.
• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, design presentations, and 3D visualizations.
• Develop and coordinate interior details for ceilings, flooring, walls, joinery, furniture, and finishes.
• Coordinate with project, site, MEP, and technical teams to ensure design requirements are properly implemented.
• Ensure that all drawings are prepared in compliance with the standards and are in accordance with the project scope and budget.
• Communicate with project manager and team members for better understanding of the drawing requirements.
• Conduct site visits and provide design solutions to site-related issues.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, and finishes to ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Incorporate business and project requirements while maintaining design quality and functionality.
• Assist the project team throughout the design and construction stages.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of technicalities, materials, and hardware.
• Identify and communicate potential issues and problems to the team.
• Revise and redesign as necessary to accommodate changes or modifications.
• Attend site meetings and follow up with contractors, consultants and landlords to resolve difficulties during project work.
• Assist the project team in coordinating design changes.
• Collaborate with contractors and other professionals to address design and project challenges.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
• Maintain AMS restaurant's AMC agreements for fire safety and LPG systems.
• Handle coordination of QCD certificate renewals of AMS restaurants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design and fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD and relevant 3D/design software.
• Good understanding of construction details, materials, finishes, and fit-out practices.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
