Job summary

SANAD Insurance Brokers in Doha is seeking an Operations Team Leader to spearhead technical operations in employee benefits and property & casualty, overseeing placement, policy servicing, and day-to-day team workflows. A strong underwriting background and deep knowledge of Marine, Engineering, Motor, Property, and Liability insurance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant insurance experience with a strong underwriting background.
• Strong technical knowledge across Marine, Engineering, Motor, Property, and Liability.
• Experience in an insurance brokerage is an advantage.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with employee benefits and Medical Insurance operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across employee benefits and property & casualty, coordinating workloads and service delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on Marine, Engineering, Motor, Property, and Liability insurance, reviewing coverage with insurers.
• Review risk information, insurer quotations, policy wordings, exclusions, deductibles, and endorsements to identify coverage gaps.
• Supervise insurance submissions, quotation comparisons, insurer negotiations, and placement, ensuring coverage meets client requirements.
• Oversee renewals, policy issuance, endorsements, and servicing, monitoring accuracy and turnaround times.
• Coordinate Medical Insurance workflows with the employee benefits team and support escalated service matters.
• Escalate technical and operational queries, liaising with clients, insurers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Guide and mentor team members, review work quality, and uphold service standards.
• Monitor outstanding cases and operational performance, report issues, and propose workflow improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure operations follow requirements and procedures.
