Job summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping and public area tasks in a hotel setting. You will inspect rooms, assign schedules, train staff, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards across all areas.

The role involves coordinating with Front Office on room status and maintaining equipment, while monitoring productivity and service quality to meet Wyndham standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping operations and cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS and hotel systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Experience with inventory control and stock management.
• Proficiency in basic computer tools (Excel, Word, email).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping and public area tasks.

• Train new hires on procedures, safety, and policies.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with engineering.
• Document and store lost and found items.
• Handle guest requests and complaints about housekeeping.
• Maintain health, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Prepare attendance records and leave schedules.
• Coordinate room status updates with Front Office.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct staff briefings and motivate the team.
• Monitor productivity and service quality to hotel standards.
• Assist Housekeeping Manager with reports and audits.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping attendants and public area cleaners.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards.
• Assign daily work schedules and room assignments to housekeeping staff.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up with the engineering department.
• Ensure all lost and found items are properly documented and stored.
• Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Maintain health, hygiene, and safety standards in all areas.
• Prepare attendance records, leave schedules, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status updates (vacant, occupied, out of order).

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with departmental reports and audits.
