The ideal candidate has proven experience as Head Pastry Chef, fluent English, and a Culinary Arts credential. You will work with the Executive Chef to maintain top-quality desserts and presentation while managing budgets and food safety standards.

Head Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Al-Khor, Qatar. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including menu planning, ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and supervising a team of pastry cooks. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure that all pastries and desserts meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• - Create and update menus for pastries and desserts
• - Order necessary ingredients and supplies
• - Oversee production of pastries and desserts
• - Ensure that all food safety standards are met
• - Train and supervise pastry cooks
• - Collaborate with the Executive Chef on new menu ideas
• - Monitor inventory levels and maintain budget for pastry department
• - Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• - Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role
• - Extensive knowledge of different types of pastries and desserts
• - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
• - Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation
• - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• - Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
• - Fluent in English (knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus)
• - Must be willing to relocate to Al-Khor, Qatar

Salary

Starting salary for this position is $1400 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
