Job summary

QatarEnergy aims to appoint a Head of Project Engineering who will serve as the Senior Discipline Engineering Authority for the Infrastructure & Civil scope of the MIC Business Park Major Project in Qatar. The role leads discipline engineering activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence and full alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of relevant infrastructure and civil project experience.
Experience delivering parks, public realm, and civil infrastructure projects.
At least 10 years leading discipline engineering teams on major projects.
Strong background in project management, engineering, construction, and supervision.
Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in multi-project environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as Senior Discipline Engineering Authority for Infrastructure & Civil scope.
Lead and govern discipline engineering activities across the full project lifecycle.
Ensure technical excellence, engineering integrity, and alignment with project objectives.
Provide strategic engineering project management for safe, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards and industry best practices.
