Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a senior professional to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the Group. You will provide assurance to leadership that ERM is applied to identify, assess and mitigate risks to business goals.

Candidates should have 15+ years in compliance/governance in oil, gas or related industries, with at least 5+ years in ERM, and hold a university degree in a relevant field; post-graduate qualifications are

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the QatarEnergy Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework covering all Group companies. Provides assurance to leadership that ERM is applied across the Group to identify risks that impact QatarEnergy business goals and objectives and that mitigation actions are put in place to manage identified risks to a tolerable level.

Required Experience and Skills

15+ years of professional experience in a compliance/governance role in oil or gas, or a related process industry (refining, petrochemicals, chemicals), with at least 5+ years of direct experience in enterprise risk management.

Educational Qualifications

University degree in a scientific, engineering, or economic/financial subject preferably at post-graduate level and/or with a relevant internationally recognised professional qualification.
