Job summary

Tiger Private in Doha, Qatar is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to support a prestigious Royal Household. You will design menus, prepare nutritious Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and cater for VVIP guests.

Lead a small team, ensure HACCP and high standards, manage sourcing and budgeting, and adapt menus for dietary needs and family travel. Experience in health-conscious cooking, ability to provide macro and nutritional breakdowns, and fluency in English are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
• Proven Head Chef experience in Royal/ UHNW/private households or luxury hospitality.
• Strong background in healthy, nutrition-focused cooking.
• Excellent knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and international trends.
• Experience catering for children and adapting menus to dietary requirements.
• Ability to provide macro and nutritional breakdowns of meals.
• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
• Calm, positive and collaborative team management approach.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and refresh family menus.
• Create healthy, balanced meals accommodating dietary needs.
• Prepare Mediterranean and international dishes for a diverse rotation.
• Provide nutritious meals for children.
• Provide nutritional breakdowns when required.
• Cater for VVIP guests, formal dinners, and events.
• Respond to last-minute requests and changing requirements.
• Refine menus from feedback from family and guests.
• Lead and manage kitchen operations with a calm, professional environment.
• Source high-quality ingredients and manage ordering/stock.
• Maintain HACCP and health & safety compliance.
• Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance.
• Travel with the family for domestic/international trips.
