Job summary

TGP International in Doha is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen for a Hawaiian street food concept. You will oversee food preparation, menu execution, and ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP standards.

You will supervise and train the kitchen team, manage inventory and sourcing, control costs, and maintain consistent quality across stations such as sushi, noodles, tacos, and fried rice. Open kitchen experience preferred; strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as Head Chef or senior kitchen leader.
• Open kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience with Hawaiian street food, sushi, noodles, tacos, fried rice or similar concepts is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, cooking methods, and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations across all stations.
• Train and mentor junior cooks and kitchen staff.
• Manage inventory, sourcing, ordering, and cost control.
• Ensure HACCP and health & safety compliance.
• Oversee menu execution and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
• Support continual improvement of kitchen processes.
