CARE International seeks an Executive Director, Gulf, based in Doha with regional travel. You will lead CARE’s Gulf presence, set strategic priorities, and build enduring partnerships across government, philanthropy, development finance, Islamic finance, and the private sector.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will lead funding mobilization, develop financing propositions, and advance CARE’s 2030 Impact Strategy to strengthen women’s economic opportunities, humanitarian response,

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic leadership and partnership development across the Gulf region.
• Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships with government, foundations, and financial institutions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Arabic.

Responsabilités

• Develop and lead CARE’s Gulf Strategy and regional partnerships.
• Establish and strengthen CARE’s presence from Doha across the GCC.
• Lead fundraising, capital mobilization, and multi-stakeholder collaboration for women’s economic empowerment.
• Build and manage a regional team and ensure effective governance and delivery.
• Represent CARE in regional forums, policy dialogues, and strategic networks.
