Job summary

MBK Global seeks a General Manager to establish and scale an additive manufacturing business with the aim of building sovereign capability for Qatar’s critical sectors. You will drive feasibility, funding, and partnerships to deliver a commercially viable manufacturing capability in Qatar.

You will own strategy, operations, finance, people and risk while delivering on customer value and regulatory requirements. This role requires immediate mobilisation and full-time presence in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Substantial oil and gas industry experience spanning asset integrity, reliability, maintenance and supply chain.
• Demonstrated track record establishing or scaling an industrial business with commercial accountability.
• Experience delivering complex industrial projects where safety, quality and schedule are critical.
• Technical understanding of industrial additive manufacturing, materials, qualification and manufacturing economics.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment activities including permits, licences, facilities, equipment and supplier arrangements.
• Develop and implement the business plan, feasibility study, financial model and mobilisation roadmap.
• Build a sustainable commercial pipeline by creating partnerships, tenders and long-term contracts.
• Ensure governance, IP/licensing, quality, safety and compliance across the venture.
• Manage customer and partner relationships to convert proofs of concept into repeat orders.
