Job summary

QNB Group, headquartered in Doha, seeks an executive to lead International Operations across multiple countries. The role requires driving the Target Operating Model, governance, and performance metrics to ensure standardized operations and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will design KPIs/KRIs, oversee budgeting and cost optimization, and coordinate with Head Office and Shared Service Centers to deliver efficient, high-quality bank operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor University graduate preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study), Masters required.
• Minimum 18 years’ experience in banking industry with special emphasis on Operations. At least 8 years at the managerial level in the various departments of Bank Operations including provision of e-banking services, Islamic banking and at least 8 years at the managerial level supervising the activities comprising Domestic & Electronic Operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and align operations across all countries with Head Office or Shared Service Centers.
• Governance over country operations in terms of control and efficiency.
• Conduct required due diligence for acquisitions and mergers and identify integration approaches.
• Lead TOM (Target Operating Model) implementation across international branches to standardize offerings and monitor performance.
• Benchmark operating models against industry best practices and define KPIs/KRIs across international operations.
• Develop and monitor SLAs with internal departments and international branches to improve turnaround times and reliability.
