Job summary

Advanced Search Group in Qatar is seeking an experienced Expeditor to manage expediting, logistics, and procurement support for offshore/onshore operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in expediting, with ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle) and strong attention to documentation, vendor coordination, and timely delivery in a heavy industrial setting.

This position is based at the head office in Qatar and offers collaboration with procurement and project teams to ensure on-time material readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of international logistics, trade controls, freight forwarding processes, and import/export documentation is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced offshore/onshore environments with multiple operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and follow up on all purchase orders, shipment schedules, and delivery commitments for materials, equipment, and services.
• Communicate regularly with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to expedite critical items and resolve delays.
• Review supplier lead times, delivery performance, and logistics plans to identify risks and initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Project teams to prioritize urgent materials for offshore/onshore operations.
• Maintain accurate expediting records within the company’s ERP system.
