NSW – Nakilat SvitzerwijsMuller is seeking a senior SHEQ leader to manage safety, quality and regulatory compliance across fleet, crew, and shore operations in Qatar. The role focuses on developing and enforcing HMS aligned with international standards, leading audits, and driving safety culture.

The job requires a strong background in HSE within oil & gas or offshore industries, with experience in ISM/SMS, incident investigation, and risk management. Travel to operations sites will be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine/Offshore or Safety Management.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development of NSW safety management system (HMS) aligned with international and local standards.
• Stay updated on SHEQ regulations and assess impact.
• Ensure compliance across all functions with KPIs and objectives.
• Develop and implement SHEQ policies and procedures; ensure adherence.
• Act as NSW SHEQ ambassador to stakeholders.
• Manage internal and external audits (OVMSA, ISM, ISPS, OVID).
• Liaise with Flag registry and Class authorities for audits and findings closure.
• Disseminate country-specific SHEQ legislation with operation teams.
• Produce monthly SHEQ reports for the organization and clients.
• Develop and manage local safety initiatives and cultural development.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements.
• Ensure ship husbandry compliance with NSW standards onboard.
• Oversee SHEQ trainings and certifications per Training Matrix.
