Job summary

V2X Inc in Doha, Qatar, seeks an Emergency Services Dispatcher to act as a call-taker and coordinate Fire and Emergency responses. The role requires clear radio/telephone communication and adherence to dispatch procedures.

Under supervision, you will read orders, notify personnel of assignments, update the dispatch board, and may issue equipment. You may contact responders to verify locations and perform other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• IFSAC or Proboard Telecommunicator II certification or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience as a Fire Department Emergency Service Dispatcher.
• Ability to communicate clearly on radio and telephone.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as call-taker telecommunicator and manage requests for Fire and Emergency Services responses.
• Dispatch emergency personnel to critical situations.
• Read posted orders to determine personnel requirements and notify personnel of assignments by phone or radio.
• Post assignment information on dispatch board and issue equipment as needed.
• May contact emergency personnel to verify assignment locations and perform other duties as assigned.
