Job summary

Amentum seeks a skilled drafting and GIS specialist for coordinating geospatial data, surveys, and facility drawings at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar. The role emphasizes production of maps, GIS updates, and collaboration with engineers across projects.

Responsibilities include field surveys, data management, and maintaining DoR/SUDS guidance while supporting AFCAP requirements and adherence to Air Force standards.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three (3) years of surveying and drafting experience.
• Must be proficient in creating and updating space usage information contained in SUDS.
• Preference given to individuals with US Government or military project experience.
• Must have knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Must possess a valid state or international driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Create and print maps via DAPS or government systems and save to Government media.
• Provide surveying for facility projects and disaster response.
• Conduct in-field land surveys to update utility and facility MDSs.
• Create and maintain technical drawings and maps.
• Maintain GIS data and GeoBase records per Air Force guidance.
• Prepare project documentation including plans, specs, and SOWs.
