Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced surveying and drafting specialist to support AFCAP at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on GIS, AutoCAD drafting, and geospatial data management to support facility planning and maintenance.

You will perform field surveys, create maps, update CIP/MDS data, and collaborate with engineers and government customers to produce accurate drawings and documentation while ensuring compliance with DoD GIS standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' surveying and drafting experience, 1 year with current AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining technical drawings, geospatial data, and maps.
• Familiar with survey techniques including GPS, RTK, and boundary surveys.
• Experience on US Government and Military projects preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret US Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and print custom maps and save them to required media.
• Provide field surveys for facilities projects and disaster response.
• Conduct in-the-field land surveys and update utility infrastructure data.
• Create and maintain GIS data, drawings, and geospatial maps.
• Support engineers and customers with drafting and documentation.
• Maintain a repository of technical reference material and plans.
