Job summary

Swan Global in Qatar is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join the project in Doha. The role covers land, topographical, and construction surveys, setting-out, measurements, and verification of coordinates and levels in line with approved drawings and project specifications.

You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field, with at least 10 years total experience and 5 years in land surveying on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant land surveying and construction experience.
• Experience with large-scale construction/infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Qatar/GCC project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land, topographical, and construction surveys for the project.
• Carry out accurate setting-out works for structures, roads, utilities, and landscaping.
• Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and reference points.
• Perform site measurements and verify dimensions against drawings.
• Operate surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and Auto Level.
• Prepare and maintain survey records, field notes, calculations, and reports.
• Check survey works against approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and design drawings.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, landscape, and other teams.
• Provide accurate survey data to support construction and engineering activities.
• Ensure surveying activities comply with project specs, quality standards, and HSE.

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join the Project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate land and construction surveying activities, site setting-out, measurements, and verification of coordinates and levels in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
• BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant/similar experience in land surveying and construction projects.
• Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, building, or development projects is preferred.
• Qatar/GCC project experience will be an advantage.
