Job summary

Amentum is seeking a technical expert to advise on electrical power, distribution, and related systems for Air Force contracts at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar.

The role covers asset lifecycle management, design guidance, and preparation of bid-ready construction drawings while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with government requirements. Involves overseas work and potential remote-site assignments.

Qualifications

• Five-level AFSC equivalent and 5 years of experience with building electrical systems.
• Completion of AFIT WENG 200, WMGT 231 and WMGT 417 courses as required.
• Prior overseas government contracting experience preferred.
• BUILDER experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2025 or later for facility plans.

Responsibilities

• Advise AMP Managers, Operations Flight, and Engineering Flight on electrical system investments.
• Provide facility ICS inputs to the Facilities AMP Manager.
• Offer technical guidance on Electrical Sub-Amp and Interior Utility Systems.
• Assist with development of infrastructure plans FYDP+3.
• Support pre-design for new construction and renovations.
• Prepare design calculations, layouts, drawings, and specs for projects.
• Lead cost estimates, schedules, and bid-ready drawings.
