Job summary

Omanyp in Doha seeks an experienced Accountant to maintain accurate books for funds and SPVs, ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance, and support regulatory filings and investor reporting. Responsibilities include preparing accounting schedules, processing payments, coordinating audits with external auditors and banks, and maintaining documentation in line with internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Progress towards ACCA, CPA, ACA, or similar preferred.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience in funds or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience in private equity or fund structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and accounting schedules.
• Perform fund accounting for complex structures (GP/LP, SPVs).
• Prepare regulatory filings and internal reports.
• Process payments and manage banking activities.
• Support budgeting, audits, and investor reporting.
• Maintain documentation in line with internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
