Responsibilities

• Assist Front Office Management in delivering courteous, professional, and flexible service at all times.
• Maintain strict control of room keys and liaise with Housekeeping for VIP schedules.
• Coordinate all repair and maintenance and report work orders.
• Understand rate structures and promotional rates available.
• Ensure Andaz Doha Signature Guest Experiences are implemented.
• Monitor daily performance of front office team and ensure tasks are completed.
• Handle guest complaints in a respectful, unique manner.
• Supervise and assist front desk team as needed.
• Submit guests/colleagues incident reports.
• Collaborate with management to ensure hotel-wide success and guest satisfaction.

Duties:

• Assists the Front Office Management Team in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times
• Ensures the strict control of room keys.
• Liaises and organizes with Housekeeping Department that the established cleaning schedules for VIP’s in - house and arrivals are strictly adhered to.
• Coordinates all Repair and Maintenance and reports maintenance job orders.
• Understands rate structure and promotional rates available.
• Assists in making sure that all Andaz Doha Signature Guest Experiences have been implemented.
• Monitor daily performance of front office team members to ensure tasks are completed
• Able to handle guest’s complaints in a unique and respective manner
• Supervise and assist front desk team, if necessary.
• Submits all guests/colleague’s incident reports.
• Works closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.

Qualifications

• Certification in related field preferred.
• 2-4+ years of progressive customer service hotel experience
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience with international hospitality brands preferred.
