Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Floorman for an Offshore Jackup Rig in Qatar. The position covers drilling, tripping and casing operations under the Driller’s guidance on North Field, Halul Island, or contracted rigs during rotational cycles.

You will handle drill pipes and BHA components, maintain rig floor cleanliness, perform daily inspections, and support maintenance. Onboard meals and temporary accommodations are provided, with flight tickets for crew changes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years offshore floorman/roughneck experience
• BOSIET/FOET with HUET offshore survival
• Qatar Ministry of Public Health Medical Certificate
• IWCF Level 1 (Well Control Awareness) is a plus
• Rigging/Slinging certification is an advantage
• Arabic language basics helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist drilling, tripping, and casing operations under the Driller’s direction.
• Handle drill pipes, collars, and BHA components during connections.
• Maintain rig floor cleanliness to prevent slips/trips hazards.
• Perform daily inspections of rig floor equipment and assist in preventive maintenance.
• Report defects to the Assistant Driller or Toolpusher.
• Assist in loading/unloading supply vessels with casing, drilling mud, and tools.
• Work with roustabouts to move materials on deck.

Reporting To:Driller / Rig Floor Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Assist indrilling, tripping, andcasing operationsunder the Driller’s direction.

• Maintainrig floor cleanlinesstoprevent slips/trips hazards.

2. Equipment Maintenance

• Performdaily inspectionsofrig floor equipment (e.g., drawworks, catwalks, rotary table).
• Assist inpreventive maintenance(lubrication,minor repairs).
• Report defects to theAssistantDriller or Toolpusher.

3. Deck & General Labor Support

• Assist inloading/un unloading supplyvessels(casing, drilling mud, tools).
• Work withroustaboutsto movematerials on deck.

Qualifications & Certifications

Mandatory:

• 2+ years experience as Floorman/Roughneck (offshorepreferred).
• BOSIET/FOET with HUET (Offshore Survival & HelicopterEscape).

Expected Salary in Qatar (2025)
