Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL is seeking a Group Leader for Training and Standards to oversee education and certification for flight line personnel and weapons load operations. The role coordinates training activities, ensures material alignment with standards, and maintains records to demonstrate competency across maintenance tasks.

The position requires aircraft knowledge, the ability to liaise with maintenance groups, and a focus on continuous improvement and regulatory

Qualifications

• Requires general Typhoon aircraft knowledge/competency within own technical area.
• Awareness of how the team integrates with others to achieve objectives.
• Emphasis on continuous improvement and its application.

Responsibilities

• Lead training activities for flight line personnel and weapons load training.
• Ensure training materials conform to configuration and standards.
• Establish and maintain training schedules and delivery programmes.
• Deliver induction training and other mandatory sessions (e.g. Manual Handling, Working at Height).
• Maintain training records to prove competency and currency.
