Job summary

BSL is seeking a Weapons Junior Supervisor to lead a team of armament technicians in performing detailed maintenance on the Typhoon aircraft and related components. Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship in Aeronautical Engineering or Military equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance.
• Typhoon Composite Flight Servicing.
• Engineering- HNC or equivalent experience.
• Leadership- Foundation.
• Human Factors.
• E&PW Awareness.
• ITAR Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance and diagnostic tasks on Typhoon aircraft or weapons systems.
• Ensure staff are competent and approved for allocated maintenance tasks.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the team.
• Maintain airworthiness records and appropriate documentation.
• Report issues and impacts to the wider programme.
• Ensure maintenance is completed to schedule and resolve issues.
• Maintain personal and team task authorisation per regulatory requirements.
