Job summary

HR Desk Solutions is seeking a qualified HVAC technician with a Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning to join our maintenance team in Qatar.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of HVAC units (package, split and window types) and related refrigeration equipment. You will read wiring drawings, perform troubleshooting, and ensure safety standards while working at petrol stations around the clock.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Technical College or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Discipline.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of HVAC units and refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment and systems.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform corrective actions.
• Understand wiring drawings and P&ID diagrams (Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing).
• Maintain safety standards and work with a team to ensure high productivity.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in installation, commissioning – and maintenance of Refrigeration-and-Air-Conditioning-unit-{AC-units like Package, split and window type, refrigeration units like, Freezers and chillers/coolers)

Areas of work / work requirement:

• Able to carry out Maintenance/corrective jobs for the petrol stations working round the clock.
• Knowledge of food product Rules and Safety regulations.
• Able to understand and diagnose equipment breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting efficiently.
• Ability to work in a team to achieve high level of productivity and safety standards Able to handle Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting etc.
• High level of integrity and loyalty. With a clear demonstration of teamwork, flexibility, change adaptability, initiative, analytical thinking and problem-solving capacity.
• Will have the ability to work under pressure with less supervision.
• Carryout maintenance work and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment and systems, Effectively troubleshoot, test, repair fault finds and diagnose failures on equipment’s and appliance.
• Able to understand wiring drawings / flow (Electrical/mechanical / plumbing and other P&ID diagrams) and charts
• Knowledge of electrical power maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of reading and understanding equipment manuals.
• Ability to understand safety measures and risk assessment system.
• Able to work independently.
