Caltiq Trading Contracting & Maintenance W.L.L is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform installation, servicing, preventive maintenance and repair of various HVAC systems in Qatar. You will inspect breakdowns, identify root causes and work with customers and supervisors to complete service tasks.
ITI/ Diploma in HVAC required with 2–5 years of GCC experience; strong troubleshooting, refrigerant handling, electrical control knowledge, and willingness to work at client sites are essential.
Carry out installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various HVAC and air-conditioning systems. Attend breakdown calls and identify the root cause of HVAC equipment faults. Perform servicing of split AC, ducted split AC, cassette AC, FCU, AHU, package units and related HVAC equipment. Check and troubleshoot compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, thermostats, motors, capacitors, contactors, sensors and control systems. Carry out refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, vacuuming and pressure testing as required. Perform electrical and control wiring checks related to HVAC equipment. Clean and maintain filters, coils, blowers, drain trays, condensate drain lines and other HVAC components. Conduct preventive maintenance according to the company’s maintenance schedule and service checklists. Diagnose abnormal noise, vibration, water leakage, poor cooling, high/low pressure, compressor tripping and other HVAC-related issues. Replace defective HVAC components and ensure proper testing after repair. Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards at the worksite. Prepare service reports, inspection reports and material requirements after completing jobs. Coordinate with supervisors, customers and other technicians during site activities. Follow company procedures, safety requirements and customer site regulations. Maintain tools, testing instruments, refrigerant equipment and company materials properly. Provide professional customer service and communicate technical findings clearly to the supervisor customer. Support other MEP maintenance activities when required.
