Job summary

Qatar Living is seeking an experienced AC Technician Supervisor in Doha to lead a team of HVAC technicians responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of HVAC experience, strong leadership, and a track record of safe, high-quality work. You will coordinate with clients and facilities, mentor staff, and ensure projects meet schedule and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
• HVAC certification or trade qualification is preferred.
• Valid Qatar Driving Licence is an advantage.
• Experience: 5–8 years in HVAC maintenance and installation.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of AC/HVAC technicians.
• Assign work orders and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, split AC units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, and ducting systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Review maintenance reports, job cards, and service documentation.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians to improve technical performance.
• Coordinate with clients, facility managers, and other departments regarding maintenance schedules and repairs.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with the procurement or store department.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.
• Respond promptly to emergency HVAC breakdowns and critical maintenance issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
