Job summary

The Ned Doha is seeking a proactive Restaurant Supervisor to lead our F&B team within a luxury setting in Doha. You will supervise restaurant operations, train staff, ensure health and safety compliance, and resolve guest queries in the manager's absence.

You will deputize the Manager at meetings, implement SOPs, monitor guest satisfaction, coordinate with the head chef, manage mise en place and reservations, and uphold our service values while maintaining a polished image.

Qualifications

• Experience leading F&B teams and supervising restaurant staff.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
• Ability train staff and manage customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Deputize the Manager in attending all meetings according to schedule.
• Assist in implementing SOPs throughout the restaurant.
• Respond proactively to guest queries and ensure action in the absence of the manager.
• Report and follow up maintenance issues affecting service.
• Ensure guest satisfaction is monitored and rectified during meals.
• Communicate with head chef to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure mise en place is complete and stocks are available.
• Prepare tables according to reservations and reset as needed.
• Greet guests professionally and efficiently.
• Take guest food and beverage requirements with accuracy.
• Prepare and present accurate bills.
• Display knowledge of all food and beverage items served.
• Maintain cleanliness of service and Back of House areas per Health and Safety standards.
• Handle payroll, holidays, and rotas per hotel policies.
• Ensure service is delivered in line with our Values.
• Handle guest comments appropriately and communicate to management.
• Maintain grooming standards to reflect a professional image.
