Job summary

An upscale luxury hotel in Lusail, Qatar seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations and maintain exceptional quality for guests. You will develop menus, supervise kitchen staff, manage food cost controls, ensure safety and cleanliness, and collaborate with events teams to deliver memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients.
• Ability to create menu items that cater to different dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations.
• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop menus and create new dishes that reflect the hotel's brand and meet guest preferences.
• Manage food inventory and maintain cost control measures.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of events and catering services.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
