Job summary

India Abroad in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen in Doha. The ideal candidate has a strong background in international cuisine and proven leadership of a chef team.

The role offers a competitive monthly salary of 1,700 QAR plus comprehensive medical insurance and paid holidays. Fluency in English is essential, and adherence to food safety standards is required. You will develop menus, supervise staff, maintain quality and inventory, and train new employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience as a chef in a high-end restaurant.
• Experience in international cuisine, including Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage a team of chefs.
• Knowledgeable on food safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing creative menus that meet customer needs and expectations.
• Supervising the work of subordinate chefs and other kitchen staff members.
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared with the highest quality ingredients and according to health regulations.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies when necessary.
• Training new staff on kitchen processes and procedures.
