Job summary

WTS Energy in Qatar is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering major onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects. You will drive delivery across Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design phases to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence for large-scale assets.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on governance across engineering disciplines, with direct Qatar Energy project experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 15+ years Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Experience as Engineering Manager or Project Engineering Manager.
• Experience with Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC/EPCM/PMC projects.
• Direct Qatar Energy project experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Provide technical leadership and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time and meet project requirements.
• Manage engineering budgets, schedules, resources, and performance.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engineering delivery across Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design phases, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client and industry standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Project Engineering Manager.
• Strong background in Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC, EPCM, or PMC projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience working on major onshore and/or offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Previous Middle East project experience preferred.

Mandatory Requirement

Direct Qatar Energy project experience is essential.

Preferred Experience

• LNG, gas processing, pipelines, offshore platforms, refinery, or petrochemical projects.
• Experience within EPC contractors, engineering consultancies, or PMC organizations.
• Experience managing multicultural engineering teams.
