Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineering professional to oversee FEED and EPC contractor activities, ensure design compliance with project specifications, and manage deliverables across the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of engineering experience including 4 years in oil & gas, and at least 1 year supervising contractor personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience or oversight of contractor personnel.
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural design, standards, codes, and specifications.
• Experience with FEED/EPC project execution and engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Civil/Structural engineering activities and FEED/EPC contractor deliverables.
• Ensure civil/structural design complies with project specifications, standards, codes, and technical requirements.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, data sheets, and procedures.
• Monitor engineering progress against approved scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project teams, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure design integrity, quality, safety, and compliance throughout project execution.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to engineering teams and contractors.
