Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar is seeking a senior Quality professional to implement the project quality management program and oversee EPC contractor quality for procurement. You will drive surveillance, manage inspection resources, track NCRs, and lead quality reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with 8+ years in Oil & Gas Quality and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Additional qualifications in Quality, Welding, or NDE Inspection.
• Minimum 8 years’ Oil & Gas Quality experience.
• 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
• Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service companies.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Project Quality Plan and oversee Contractor Quality Management Systems to ensure material and equipment compliance.
• Implement procurement quality surveillance and monitor EPC Contractor procurement activities.
• Manage inspection resources and monitor Third-Party and Site Inspection Services performance.
• Monitor deficiencies and NCRs to ensure timely investigation, resolution, and compliance.
• Implement quality reporting to track performance, issues, risks, and trends.
• Participate in quality audits of procurement, purchasing, and subcontracting activities.
• Perform other quality-related duties as directed by the Head of Quality.
