Job summary

Scale is seeking a Head of Solutions Engineering to lead and grow the pre-sales function across the EMEA region. You will hire, mentor, and scale a team of Solutions Engineers & Architects, partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering to demonstrate technical value and drive go-to-market excellence across diverse markets.

This strategic, hands-on leadership role blends player-coach responsibilities with long-term GTM growth, defining repeatable processes, and driving pilots to production wins

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Solutions Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven ability to scale pre-sales teams across multiple markets.
• Strong cloud, API-driven products, and data platform knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional pre-sales strategy and execution for complex deals.
• Define repeatable pre-sales processes and playbooks.
• Build and mentor a distributed SE/SA team across EMEA.
• Lead discovery, demos, and pilots translating to production wins.
• Represent Scale to executives and partners.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to feed roadmap.
• Develop regional enablement programs and measure key metrics.
• Travel frequently across EMEA to support customers.
