Job summary

Scale AI is seeking an EMEA Assurance Lead to drive assurance programs across Scale's EMEA public sector and commercial business. You will design and own EMEA-specific controls within Scale's global assurance framework and report to the Head of Global Assurance.

You will coordinate cross‑functional efforts with Legal, Security, Engineering, and Product to deliver regional authorizations and customer assurance outcomes across EMEA, with focus on GCC, UK and EU markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity compliance, GRC, public sector assurance, or related roles with exposure to EMEA markets.
• Experience executing government/public sector assurance programs in UK, EU, or GCC with external bodies.
• Familiarity with UK Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials+, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, and sovereign security regimes in GCC.

Responsibilities

• Design and own EMEA-specific controls within Scale's assurance framework.
• Lead region-specific assurance programs across GCC and UK; manage evidence collection and certification timelines.
• Maintain certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, ISO 9001) and extend to EMEA operations.
• Coordinate audits, respond to security questionnaires, and support procurement gate processes.
• Partner with Legal on data protection and AI governance intersections (GDPR, PDPPL, EU AI Act).
• Manage relationships with external auditors, assessors, and certification bodies.
