Job summary

QNB Group in Doha is seeking an experienced AVP - Tax & Reporting to manage tax processing and department inquiries related to Asset Management, Financial Statements, external and internal audits. The incumbent will maintain adequate records for asset management and investment activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Familiar with Tax Regulation and Legality, Financial Statements and Cost accounting.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within an international bank.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure timely tax reporting and compliance.
• Prepare and review financial statements and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities and internal departments.
• Maintain asset management documents and records for reports and audits.
• Deliver MIS and reports to stakeholders weekly and monthly.
• Drive process improvements and cost control across the tax function.
