Job summary

SmartAgro in Doha is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee operations for our property. This role requires strong leadership, excellent English communication, and hands-on management of front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance teams.

Applicants should have proven hotel management experience, be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or relevant role.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of hotel management software, such as Opera or Fidelio.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and training as needed
• Develop strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the hotel
• Create employee schedules and manage payroll expenses within budget
• Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns to attract more guests
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
