Job summary

Safir Hotels & Resorts in Doha seeks an experienced General Manager to lead our hotel's operations, drive revenue, and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a competitive market. You will own the P&L, budgets, and strategic plans, collaborate with Sales, Revenue, and F&B teams, and mentor a high-performing leadership team to achieve ambitious performance targets.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in senior hotel management, a solid track record in profit improvement, and fluency in English;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive hotel management experience in senior leadership roles.
• Experience as General Manager, Hotel Manager, Resident Manager, or Director of Operations in a full-service hotel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day hotel operations across all departments.
• Own the hotel's P&L, budget, revenue, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and execute business plans to improve revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and F&B teams to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with corporate accounts, government entities, travel partners, and key clients.
• Monitor operating expenses, payroll, procurement, and departmental costs while maintaining service quality.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and regular business performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with budgets, SOPs, brand standards, and company policies.
