Kempinski Hotels SA in Doha is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead the Housekeeping & Laundry Department, ensuring top standards of cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, outlets and back of house.

The role requires strategic leadership, budget management, and coordination with Front Desk, Engineering, F&B to maintain Kempinski standards and guest satisfaction. Permanent, full-time position based in Qatar.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Housekeeping Department by developing and implementing departmental objectives aligned with hotel goals.
• Supervise operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, standards and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect areas and take corrective measures to meet Kempinski cleanliness standards.
• Develop, implement and review policies, procedures, practices and standards.
• Select, train, schedule and manage performance of staff to run operations efficiently.
• Manage linen inventory and guest supplies and ordering to meet quality needs.
• Coordinate housekeeping with Front Desk, Engineering, F&B to ensure timely cleaning.
• Participate in refurbish and renovation planning, execution and setup.
• Prepare annual budget and manning guide and manage department within budget.
• Coordinate and review contracts (plants rental, window cleaning, etc.).
• Plan hotel decoration for functions and festive seasons and organize actions.
• Manage flower shop and valet shop to meet high quality and results.
• Stay informed on new equipment, cleaning products, and industry trends.
• Perform administrative duties like meetings, reports, memos.
• Additional tasks may be added as needed.
