Job summary

Al-Rayyan Luxury Hotel in Qatar is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas. The role requires English proficiency, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a luxury hotel, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage busy periods, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual ability is an asset.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are replenished in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness
• Train new housekeeping staff on company policies, procedures, and proper cleaning techniques
• Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with other departments such as front office, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including budgeting and forecasting for supplies and staffing needs
