Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering invites applications for a Full-time operator to manage and monitor plant field equipment and the Direct Reduction Plant process. You will receive training from the team and be involved in routine inspections and process operations.

We require a Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education, a minimum of 3 years in a similar role (manufacturing/steel preferred), and solid understanding of DR equipment and chemistry or a mechanical diploma.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education completed.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar job profile.
• Manufacturing/steel industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DR equipment and process operation.
• Knowledge of DR chemistry or mechanical diploma holder.
• Basic computer skills.
• English language skills – written and spoken; Hindi spoken required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant field equipment and Direct Reduction Plant processes.
• Carry out routine inspection and equipment checks.
• Periodical visual observation of product and oxide material quality.
• Periodical inspection of product storage yard.
• Attend plant troubles / abnormalities promptly.
• Adhere to safe working practices and procedures.
• Perform overtime, standby and call out duties when required.
