Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance professional for a full-time role at our production plant. You will execute maintenance activities, inspect electrical systems, and perform repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a Technical Diploma in Electrical/Electronics and at least 3 years of experience in a production or steel manufacturing setting, with strong reading of electrical diagrams and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Electrical/Electronics from a reputed institute (required).
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in production/process plants, preferably steel.
• Capable of reading electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of operating standards, safety, environment and quality procedures.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical maintenance activities and follow inspection plans.
• Apply electrical maintenance programs to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Observe electrical equipment and identify defects; carry out repairs as needed.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled diagnosis and repair when required.
• Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance to follow plans without affecting production.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, environment and quality procedures.

Execute the electrical maintenance activities and follow-up on inspection activities according to the maintenance schedule plans.

Applies the Electrical maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.

Observe and inspect electrical equipment and identify any defects / issues.

Make temporary and/or permanent repairs where necessary.

Carry out emergency / unscheduled diagnosis and repair activities when necessary.

Communicate with production and mechanical maintenance personnel to execute the electrical maintenance plans without affecting the production plans.

Ensure all operating, safety, environment, and quality procedures are followed to ensure the highest standards of operational integrity.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma (Electrical/Electronics) from any reputed institute/university.

Experience and requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience in any production / process plant, preferably in steel plants, other metal industries experience can be considered.
• Technical awareness of electrical equipment’s used in in any production plant and material handling loading/unloading systems.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of any Production plant preferably Steel manufacturing plant and Material Handling systems.
• Shall be capable to read Electrical drawings.
• Complete knowledge of operating standards and safety procedures
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of safety, environment and quality procedures and standards.
