Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a hands-on Plant Operator for a full-time position in Doha. You will operate and monitor cold briquetting plant equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production while adhering to HSE and quality standards.

The role requires practical experience with conveyors, briquetting machines, and DCS control systems, plus fluency in English and basic Hindi. Candidates should be prepared for shift-based work in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial experience in steel/manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Hands-on operating knowledge of conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and briquetting machines.
• Experience with modern DCS systems and industrial software such as WinCC, Experion, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Cold Briquetting Plant equipment and processes to ensure safe production.
• Conduct routine inspections of conveyors, briquetting machines, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor plant parameters using DCS/control systems and report abnormalities promptly.
• Perform periodic visual inspections of raw materials, finished products, and storage areas.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment issues and support corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Follow all HSE, quality, and operating procedures, including overtime and standby duties when required.

• Conduct routine inspections and operational checks of conveyors, roller-type briquetting machines, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems .
  
• Monitor plant parameters and process conditions using DCS/control systems , identifying and reporting abnormalities promptly.
  
• Perform periodic visual inspections of raw materials, finished product quality, and product storage areas .
  
• Troubleshoot plant and equipment issues and support corrective actions to minimize operational interruptions and downtime.
  
• Follow all HSE, quality, and operating procedures , including overtime, standby, and call-out duties when required.
  

Requirements

• Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education from a recognized institution.
  
• Minimum 3 years of industrial experience , preferably within a steel plant, manufacturing plant, or similar heavy industrial environment .
  
• Hands-on operating knowledge of conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and roller-type briquetting machines .
  
• Strong understanding of plant equipment, process specifications, operating parameters, and process control systems .
  
• Experience with modern DCS systems and industrial applications such as WinCC, Experion, or equivalent ; basic computer skills are required.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills , with the ability to work under pressure and in environments involving dust, heat, heights, and gases . Must be safety- and quality-conscious, with good written and spoken English and spoken Hindi .
