Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking a skilled industrial operator to manage the Lime Calcining Plant. You will monitor field equipment, inspect conveyors and briquetting machines, and respond to deviations from set points.

The role requires a Technical Diploma or higher secondary education and at least 3 years of industrial experience, preferably in manufacturing or steel plants, with proficiency in English and Hindi for safety communications.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial experience; manufacturing/steel plant preferred.
• Practical operating knowledge of conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and briquetting machines.
• Good understanding of plant equipment, process parameters, and process control.
• Experience with modern DCS/control systems and exposure to WinCC, Experion or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; able to work under pressure in dusty, hot environments; English and Hindi communication.

• Operate and monitor field equipment and processes within the Lime Calcining Plant , ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.
  
• Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment, including conveyors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and roller-type briquetting machines .
  
• Monitor plant operating parameters through DCS/control systems and identify process deviations or equipment abnormalities.
  
• Perform periodic visual checks of raw materials, finished product quality, and product storage areas .
  
• Respond promptly to plant equipment problems and process abnormalities using effective troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques .
  
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures , including performing overtime, standby, and call-out duties when required.
  

Requirements

• Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education from a recognized institution.
  
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial experience ; experience in a manufacturing or steel plant environment is preferred .

• Experience with modern DCS/control systems and exposure to applications such as WinCC, Experion, or similar systems ; basic computer skills are required.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills , with the ability to work under pressure and in environments involving dust, heat, heights, and gases . Must be safety-conscious, proactive, hardworking, and able to communicate in English and spoken Hindi .
