A Data Center Operations Engineer is the front-line responder who monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots a facility's critical infrastructure. While the Operations Manager handles budgets and personnel, the Engineer works directly on the floor executing preventative maintenance, reacting to alarms, and ensuring power and cooling systems remain online.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or HVAC.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience in a critical environment.
• Knowledge of generators, UPS, chillers, CRAH and fire suppression systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure on the floor.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to alarms.
• Ensure uninterrupted power and cooling systems; work in a 24/7 rotation.
