Job summary

Lödige Industries GmbH is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to operate in a 24x7 shift pattern for a real-time critical infrastructure. The role covers management of maintenance and ticketing systems across the Middle East region, with collaboration from a team of engineers for complex troubleshooting.

The candidate should hold an engineering degree in IT/CS/Electronics and have strong networking, server, and storage skills.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in IT, CS or Electronics from a reputed university.
CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred.
Knowledge of routing & switching, wireless, voice, DC, security is advantageous.
Server and storage infra skills: VMware, VEEAM, Linux (RHEL), Oracle 12c.
Ability to diagnose and coordinate with 3rd party support vendors.
Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English (speaking & writing).

Responsibilities

Work in a 24x7 shift pattern for a real-time critical infrastructure run 365 days.
Manage and maintain maintenance asset management and ticketing/Help Desk across Lodige Middle East projects in MENA.
Handle client calls/tickets; collaborate with a team of engineers for joint troubleshooting.
Own customer issues from report to resolution; ensure proper handover between shifts.
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions for system issues.
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to end-users.
Prepare timely reports as required by management or end users.
Assist Lodige Engineers with site support and commissioning activities as needed.
Follow escalation procedures for unresolved issues.
