Job summary

HSBC in Doha is recruiting for a BCO Analyst based on-site in Qatar. The role supports the Business Credit Office, coordinating credit and lending tasks and ensuring consistent underwriting with strong controls.

You will work with Coverage and Transaction Support teams to deliver a streamlined credit journey for clients. Ideal candidates will have corporate banking experience in credit analysis or RM roles, with solid knowledge of financing instruments, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bring relevant experience in corporate banking as credit analyst or relationship manager.
• Strong understanding of financing instruments and banking products.
• Experience in risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to produce customer research plus financial and credit analyses.
• Coordinate credit proposals and renewals end-to-end with documentation and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BCO tasks in line with OKRs, SLAs and KPIs.
• Support end-to-end Credit & Lending servicing for a seamless client journey.
• Assist Relationship Managers with credit analysis and timely submission of credit proposals.
• Coordinate credit applications or renewals and manage risk escalation to Risk teams.
• Prepare facility letters and security documents; confirm completeness of documentation.
• Monitor credit quality through periodic reviews and covenant tracking.
• Apply HSBC policies and adhere to regulatory standards to minimise risk.
• Maintain First Line of Defence controls and address audit/regulatory recommendations.
