Job summary

HSBC in Qatar invites applications for a BCO Analyst to join the Credit & Capital Management team. Based in Doha, you will support BCO Managers and Relationship Managers with client reviews, financial and credit analysis, and renewals within a controlled, first-line defence framework.

You will collaborate with Coverage, Transaction Support and Risk teams to deliver a consistent underwriting journey while meeting OKRs, SLAs, and KPIs. HSBC supports flexible work arrangements where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate banking in a credit analyst or relationship manager capacity.
• Strong understanding of financing instruments and banking products used in corporate banking.
• Solid knowledge of risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to produce customer research plus financial and credit analysis for underwriting decisions.
• Experience managing credit proposals and renewals end-to-end with documentation and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BCO tasks in line with OKRs, SLAs and KPIs.
• Support end-to-end Credit & Lending servicing journey for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist RMs with credit analysis and timely submission of credit proposals.
• Coordinate credit applications or renewals and manage risk escalation to the Risk team.
• Prepare facility letters and internal security documents and verify security docs with external counsel.
• Monitor credit quality through periodic reviews and covenant tracking.
• Apply HSBC policies to minimise risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain First Line of Defence controls and address external audit findings.
