Airswift is seeking a Contract Division Manager to lead contract strategy for onshore projects in Qatar, focusing on ITT processes and EPC contracts within a high-value environment. You will direct commercial strategy, governance and risk throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires extensive Oil & Gas contracting experience, leadership of cross-functional teams, and a track record of delivering on cost and schedule commitments in complex programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Law or Engineering.
  • 12 years’ experience in multiple project functions in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • 3 years of Project Management leadership in a Major Oil & Gas Project.
  • Experience in business and risk management including project controls, cost and schedule development, tender preparation, and contract management.
  • Contract Lifecyle management expertise.
  • Commercial and risk management acumen.
  • EPC Contracting and procurement strategy development.
  • Claims, disputes, and change management.
  • Stakeholder and vendor governance management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all project contracting activities, including ITT issuance, EPC contract execution, and Services CWO administration.
  • Oversee the development of ITT packages and direct the end-to-end tendering process to ensure commercial integrity and governance.
  • Establish contract strategies and govern EPC contract documentation to ensure complete scope definition and balanced risk.
  • Assess contractor technical and commercial submissions and advise management on acceptability and awards.
  • Govern the full contract administration process, including change management, payment certification, and close out.
  • Lead negotiations of contractor changes to secure optimal outcomes while protecting cost and schedule commitments.
  • Manage complex contractual disputes and prepare formal commercial correspondence to preserve rights.
  • Protect the project’s commercial interests with rigorous oversight of the contracting environment.
  • Develop organizational capability within contracts by mentoring personnel and driving improvements.
  • Champion a high-performance contracts organization delivering safety, quality, cost, and schedule excellence.

Airswift is seeking for Contract Division Manager to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.

Job Purpose

Manage the contracts strategy for the Company Onshore Projects by controlling, directing, and implementing the contract management process while leading the development and stewardship of contracts plans across the Project. Provide technical, commercial, and functional leadership in all aspects of contracting, including the preparation and administration of ITT packages and EPC Contracts within a high-value, complex project environment.

Qualifications Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Law or Engineering.
  • 12 years’ experience in multiple project functions and assignments, e.g., project management, engineering, construction, procurement, etc. in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 3 years of Project Management leadership in a Major Oil & Gas Project.
  • Experienced in business and risk management including project controls, cost and schedule development, tender preparation, and contract management.
  • Contract Lifecyle management expertise.
  • Commercial and risk management acumen.
  • EPC Contracting and procurement strategy development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for all project contracting activities, including ITT issuance, EPC contract execution, and Services CWO administration, while aligning contractual actions with Legal and key project stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of ITT packages and direct the end-to-end tendering process to ensure commercial integrity, market competitiveness, and full compliance with project governance requirements.
  • Establish contract strategies and govern the development of EPC contract documentation to ensure complete scope definition, balanced risk allocation, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Assess contractor technical and commercial submissions and advise senior management and shareholders on contractual acceptability, commercial exposure, and award recommendations.
  • Govern the full contract administration process, including change management, payment certification, claims resolution, securities monitoring, contract amendments, and final close out.
  • Lead negotiations of contractor-initiated changes and commercial adjustments to secure optimal outcomes while protecting project cost and schedule commitments.
  • Manage complex contractual disputes and direct the preparation of formal commercial correspondence to preserve the company’s contractual rights and minimize financial exposure.
  • Protect the project’s commercial interests by maintaining rigorous oversight of the contractual environment and proactively mitigating risks affecting major capital investment.
  • Develop organizational capability within the contracts function by mentoring personnel, strengthening commercial competencies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion a high-performance contracts organization that delivers excellence in safety, quality, cost, and schedule through disciplined execution and commercial stewardship.
