Job summary

UCC Holding seeks a Group Governance & Assurance Manager to lead performance governance, operating-model compliance and commitment assurance across the Contracting & Construction sector. The role reports to the Group Chief Integration & Performance Officer and oversees governance calendars, reviews and assurance processes to drive informed decisions and corrective actions across operating companies.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of governance forums and performance reviews in multi-business organisations.
• Strong knowledge of construction commercial management, project controls, cost, margin and cash forecasting.
• Knowledge of tender governance, bid approval, delegation of authority and risk-and-opportunity management.
• Ability to structure a process architecture, operate change control and assess process compliance across business units.
• Ability to test assumptions, facilitate performance discussions and drive senior stakeholder actions.

Responsibilities

• Governance Calendar and Forums: design and manage governance calendar, TOR and decision rights for ExCom and project reviews.
• Review Packs and Forum Preparation: prepare standard packs using consolidated performance data and challenge inputs.
• Project Review Consolidation: consolidate financial and commercial reviews for an integrated performance view.
• Decision and Action Management: maintain group decision and action log and drive closure.
• Performance Intervention and Recovery: monitor triggers and coordinate recovery plans for underperforming projects.
• Process Architecture and Library: maintain process architecture and library across the group.
• Process Change Control: operate a single change-control route for processes and tools.
• Change Management Compliance: track adoption and report compliance findings to governance forums.
• Tender Compliance and Approval Gates: administer tender governance, checks, Go/No-Go and bid approvals.
• Tender Assurance and Handover: run tender assurance cadence and handover from tender to execution.
• Risk and Opportunity Management: lead risk-and-opportunity framework and maintain top-risk view for ExCom.
• Lessons Learned: capture lessons and feed back into Group processes.
